Frau Funk

Today I hung out with Jana for the last time for a while, she moves to India tomorrow. We walked to Kreuzberg to get our favorite falafel and had some great conversation, it was really nice. She is so special to me, the first friend I made in Berlin. I could have never asked for a better roommate, she is the epitome of keeping it real and getting what you want out of life, an inspiration for sure. It was pretty hard to say goodbye, but I am so excited for her and the adventures she's about to embark upon. On my walk home I listened to Bon Iver and remembered listening to his music last summer in the park with her and cried the whole way haha. He always makes me feel like my life's a big movie scene when I listen to his music. I guess I'm a bit emotional, but it's not so bad to cry over something beautiful like friendship. I am looking forward to the day we'll reunite!
