Today the girls and I walked to the Turkish market and bought vegetables and mint to make mojitos and this delicious potato-in-pita-bread thing (gözleme). I walked home by myself and it was a great feeling to be all bundled up in my coat and scarf in the middle of this big city all alone and I got really happy and excited and it's moments like that when I know this was such a good decision to come and even though I miss the comforts of home and worry about certain things, it is worth it in the end and I'm learning and seeing things I can only experience from travel.
I've been listening to this song a lot today, I love the last line the most.
